Why Are States Opposed to Electronic Cigs?
Intuit (the creators of Quickbooks) recently created this infographic to show exactly how much money is being made from the sales of tobacco in each state.
Do you think it’s a coincidence that the states making the most money are the ones most aggressively pursuing anti electronic cigarette legislation? I sure don’t!
As electronic cigarettes become more popular, causing people to buy fewer of the traditional analog death sticks, the states will lose more and more money.
By passing laws against electric cigarettes, they can continue to protect their blood money.
They are selling out our right to choose, and risking peoples health in favor of revenue enhancement… Don’t stand for it!

Should the FDA ban e-cigarettes they would need a very good reason(s) to do so, and a truthful one(s). Thusfar, my understanding is there are no unhealthy carcinogens in these products. And if the powers that be do ban these due to the nicotine, then we must remove the nicotine gums, vapors and patches as well. And if they want to tax e-cigs as they tax regular tobacco products, they will need to do same with the nicotine products mentioned above. Therefore, I foresee a class action lawsuit and sign me up. I cannot tell you how fed up I am where I am continually being babysat by the bozos we have elected in all 50 states! They are so out of control, and I’m so amazed how votes never go to the people anymore. Only votes that elect bozos, but never decision making votes. Did I wake up in Cuba this morning?

Thanks for the voice of sanity, Ginny – I hope the legislators hear you, but I’m afraid they’re corrupted beyond hope.
I don’t think it’s a desire to protect the public at all – they’re simply caving in to pressure from the tobacco lobbyists.
