Our apartment recently went non-smoking, and while my neighbors hunker in the Oregon rain, I happily puff my e-cig away inside. Besides their comments about my puffing on ray-o-vacs, they told mr that e-cigs were illegal in Oregon, which led me to your site. I'm very grateful for your very detailed information...or should I say "ammunition". I recently placed a new order with the company I've used and there was absolutely no issue regarding sales to Oregon. I printed out your pages should there be any problem, but I'm smoking now in the comfort of my own living room! My neighbors can enjoy smoking in the Oregon rain :)

I know www.VaporLounge.com ships to Oregon and with Vapor I haven't had a cigarette/analog for almost 2 years now! Not to turn into an advertisement, but they have great prices and products and the best customer service. Keep Vaping Oregon!

Sorry Michelle, you are mistaken. Ecigs ARE available here, and ONLY two companies are under restriction - as it says in the article you referenced, "Oregon also reached an agreement with another e-cigarette company, Sottera, Inc., the national distributor of NJOY, which prohibits it from doing business in Oregon until local and national standards are met."

This should be updated as it appears people are currently using this as reference. E-cigs are banned currently. Please see DOJ site:

Our wonderful state has banned only these brands though, and everyone else CAN ship here to Oregon - certainly any product on this site, anyway...

I find it very suspicious that Oregon targeted only the two companies that are involved in the law suit against the FDA. Makes it seem as if AG Kroger is in collusion with organizations such as ASH. ASH doesn't want smokers to have a less-harmful alternative to turn to, because ASH depends heavily on both tobacco settlement money and donations from pharmaceutical companies that make the ineffective FDA-approved smoking cessation products. ASH claims to have sent letters to all 50 Attorneys General asking them to declare sales of Smoking Everywhere and NJOY products illegal in their state. This is not a situation where companies have made false claims. In point of fact, NJOY has never claimed that their product is a treatment for nicotine addiction or a smoking cessation product. If AG Kroger bothered to do a scintilla of fact-gathering before jumping on the ASH bandwagon, he might have learned that there are volumes of evidence available showing that tobacco cigarette smoke contains many harmful substances such as tar, carbon monoxide, particulates, and thousands of toxic chemicals that are absent in vapor. The CASAA web site contains many lab reports showing the absence of harmful constituents in vapor and links to scientific research on the effectiveness of e-cigarettes as a reduced-harm alternative to smoking..

I tried to order an e-cigarette and received this email

Hi,

Thank you for placing your order with us today. Unfortunately, as stated on the site, the Attorney General of Oregon has begun prohibiting the sale of electronic cigarettes in Oregon recently. For this reason we have unfortunately had to cancel and refund your order.

I'm very sorry for this and if you have an out of state address (such as Washington) you would like to have the product shipped to we are happy to fulfill your order. We hope to have this situation changed in the future.

Thanks,
John
